Money Transfer through Mobile Banking App

 

ICICI Bank Canada account holders can now transfer money online to virtually any bank in India, in just a few taps!.

Our Online Money Transfers have always been easy and convenient to use. You can initiate instant* online money transfers to any ICICI Bank account holder in India or to any IMPS1, NEFT2 and RTGS3 enabled banks/branches across India. Take advantage of our pre-confirmed competitive exchange rates and low service charges, all with a few taps on your phone. You will be able to transfer money to the beneficiaries you have already registered through our Online Banking portal or iMobile app. New beneficiaries can also be added using these channels. Rate block is not available through mobile banking.

Mobile Banking App Features:

  • Add a new beneficiary: Now add a new beneficiary via our mobile app under Money Transfer to India.
    An OTP will be sent to your mobile number registered with us to complete beneficiary registration. If your mobile number is not registered with the Bank, you will be prompted to call our 24-hour Customer Contact Centre, toll-free at 1-888-424-2422 to confirm the registration. Beneficiary will be added and available for transfer within 24 hrs.
  • Quick Pay: Now transfer funds with just one click
    Your recent international money transfers (the last three transactions) will be prominently displayed on the app. To repeat an identical transfer (i.e. to same beneficiary for same amount), you can select a transfer displayed and complete such repeat transfer. The exchange rate applicable will be the rate on the date of the repeat transfer.
  • Set up Standing Instructions: Set up automatic fund transfers
    Now set up fund transfers using a Standing Instruction. Transfers will be made to the selected beneficiaries in the amounts and dates as requested by you.
  • Transaction History: Track all your international money transfers under ‘History’ in Money to India through the mobile app.

Money transfers to recipient bank accounts that are not held with ICICI Bank Limited in India, will only be credited instantaneously if such recipient’s bank accounts are enabled for immediate payment services (IMPS). If they are not registered for IMPS, money transfers will be processed via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) or Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). NEFT/RTGS transfers may take up to 48 business hours to process. All money transfers to India are subject to limits and restrictions imposed by IMPS and NEFT/RTGS, as applicable.
