To be eligible for an ICICI Bank Canada credit card, you have to be at least the age of majority in the province where you reside. You must be over 18 years of age if you reside in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island or Saskatchewan and must be over 19 years of age if you reside in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut or Yukon. If you are a Quebec resident, you are not eligible for an ICICI Bank Canada credit card at this time.
In addition to residing in Canada, applicants must also be one of the following: i) a Canadian citizen residing in Canada, ii) a landed immigrant or iii) a permanent resident (PR) of Canada with a valid work visa/permit or study permit.
A secured credit card is issued against a cash collateral deposit with the Bank. The credit limit established for your card will depend, among other requirements, on your deposit amount.
Once you are approved for a credit card, it could take up to 15 business days from the date you submitted your application to receive your card.
If you have no credit history in Canada, you may apply for a secured ICICI Bank Canada Coral Visa* credit card. Please visit one of our branches to complete and submit an application along with the required documents.

- Permanent Resident (PR) card
- Confirmation of permanent residence (IMM Form #5292)
- Temporary immigration permit (IMM Form #1442, 1208, 1102)
- Identification documents:
- Valid passport

You could change the category in the Cash Back Reward program every 6 months by contacting our 24-hour Customer Contact Centre at 1-888-424-2422. It may take up to 2 business days to process your request.
Please call our 24-hour Customer Contact Centre and follow the instructions. You will need to have your credit card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) handy.
Step 1: Enter your credit card into the chip-enabled terminal
Step 2: Follow the instructions including entering your PIN (remember to protect your PIN)
Step 3: Keep your card in the terminal until you are prompted to remove it
Step 4: Remove your card and take your receipt
Please visit icicibank.ca and go to the Login section to access your credit card account online. You can use this portal to view your transactions and rewards balance. You will need your Customer Identification Number (CIF) and password to log in. CIF is your login ID and is a 9-digit number beginning with 960. If you don’t have this number, please call us at 1-888-424-2422.

Yes, you can use your credit card for most online purchases.
You should call our 24-hour Customer Contact Centre immediately at 1-888-424-2422, or 1-416-847-7979 from overseas. We will disable your card and a new card will be mailed to you within 7 - 10 business days.

All transactions in a foreign currency (including credits for merchant refunds) will be charged in Canadian dollars at an exchange rate determined by the payment card network (Visa). Interest fees where applicable, will be charged in Canadian dollars on the converted Canadian amount. We will also charge a conversion fee per transaction, which is set out in our Disclosure Statement for credit cards. The above-mentioned currency conversion procedures apply to both debit and credit transactions on your credit card account and the conversion will occur on the day the transaction is posted to your account.
No, you cannot keep your card if you migrate out of Canada. You need to be a Canadian citizen or resident to be an ICICI Bank Canada credit card account holder.
Interest charges accumulated on your account for the previous month’s billing period can be viewed on your monthly statement. Statements will be mailed to your home address or you can sign up to receive your statements electronically.
Also known as a grace period, an interest-free period is the period between the end of a statement period and the date your payment is due. Please refer to the Important Disclosures that you receive with your card for more information.
If your payment is not received by the due date, it is considered late and the outstanding amount will accrue interest. Please allow 7 – 10 business days for us to receive and process any payments sent by mail.

Your credit card comes equipped with an embedded microchip that stores cardholder information securely and simultaneously provides additional security against counterfeiting or card duplication. It also comes with an extra layer of security in the form of a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is only known to you and confirms that only you are authorized to make transactions with your card.
Your ICICI Bank Canada credit card is covered by Visa Zero Liability Policy, to protect you against fraudulent transactions. If someone steals your account number to make purchases either in-store or online, you will not be responsible for the fraudulent transactions as long as you have keep your information safe and inform us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised.
